On Monday, we broke off into small groups to talk about what we want to do in Agape meetings/suggestions. This is what they said:
(each bullet point came from one person)
- more outside activities
- Theology! (I kinda burst out laughing when I saw this and no joke, it had an !)
- I want to learn about evidence that proves God is real (I forgot what it was called). I also like having food drives like last year.
- Fundraiser for t-shirts
- something fun =D (with the smiley face)
- maybe we could have a few days where we break into small groups and pray for each other. Of course, individual prayer request. In that case we can pray for healing on each other. oh mah gosh, we could do some that live streaming from ihop prayer room
- Love day: go out and talk to random person who looks lonely/or at least alone for the moment. Mission week: each day complete a mission. Mission cards: “tell someone…” “hold the door open for…” “send an anonymous gift to…”
- Have praise night
- praise night, outreach: beach :), panel: answer questions side note: I want to do worship :) worship leader at church and play guitar/sing :D-Catherine Lin
- praise and worship, evangelize to other students/staff
- I want to see more Christians at school, I want more people to get saved
- more socials :) discussing (like last year we talked about science), community outreach :)
- Bible study! (new testament. Maybe Hebrews)
- retreat!
- PRAISE NIGHT
- homeless shelter, pass food to homeless ppl, support an organiation, games, praise night, watch a move (to save a life) side note: I can play guitar, piano, flute-Melody
- We should have membership for $10 so we could have food, worship
- For everyone in Agape to unite as one. A group of brothers and sisters in Christ that…better serve God’s purpose to out friends and family. To have passion for the gospel-forever. Non Christian friends. I can sing and play the piano-Sandra Chang.
That’s pretty much it. Other people in my group suggested a number of the same things too. I am not sure how core is going to go about doing these things, but we’ll see.
Today, Wednesday, we had worship and it was a good time to remember to to be still and know God. (well at least for me).
Also!! Food club day is this Friday!
5 pieces of chicken McNuggets for……………………….$2.50!!!!!!!!!!!
Dude. That’s such a sweet deal. So go, go, go and buy them and support Agape!
Many thanks and God bless!
